Thirty years ago when I entered the ministry I wouldn’t have believed that today I would be assisting churches across the country by providing church furniture advice and counsel. Of course, that was five major church building projects ago and the Internet was non-existent (as were computers for that matter). I know it’s somewhat unusual in our day, but heading up building projects, while serving as a Senior Pastor has been an ongoing part of those 30 years for me.
For the past 23 I have served as Senior Pastor at New Hope Community Church in Bryan, OH. We’re in a town of 8,000 people in a county of 40,000, but we have been blessed to see our worship attendance grow from 30 to over 800 during those years. Along the way we have added facilities on a regular basis and of course church furnishings for each of those environments. I have studied how the church furniture industry really works during these projects and have been able to save New Hope tens of thousands of dollars over those years on church furnishings, though we have been committed to furnishing with great quality products. While I have worked with many churches on a personal level over past years, this site now provides me an opportunity to be a resource in a variety of way for churches nationwide in the years ahead.
